Lake in the mountains. Siverskoye mountains in ancient times was called Ural. On the banks of Lake towering temples and memorial pillars. In the distance is seen a fortress. On the distant rocky buttes knocked a huge sign.
Winter is coming. The lake is covered with a crust of ice. Rus boats, worshiping their gods, are still visible on the lake in the rock sanctuary. In the left part of the picture, stands the cave temple, the front side of which is carved out of stone. It has a fantastic looking griffin.

На картине изображено озеро среди гор. Сиверскими горами в древней Руси иногда называли Урал. По берегам озера высятся храмы и памятные столпы. Вдали виден город-крепость. На дальнем скальном останце выбит огромный знак.
Близится зима. Озеро покрывается корочкой льда. Лодки Русов, славящих своих Богов, пока ещё видны на озере у скального святилища. В левой части картины, высится пещерный храм, лицевая сторона которого высечена из камня. Он имеет облик сказочного грифона.
