On the hill near the temple people in white clothes go to the river. Others, with luminaries (torches) stand on the shore. They lit a light on one of the tiny boats. These boats decorated with garlands with a fire on them, embody the souls of people who had gone out of the world in the bright world Reveal Navi. Sacred boats floating on the river and its twinkling lights, symbolizing the passage of time and the meaning of human life in the universe.

На взгорье недалеко от капища люди в белых одеждах идут к реке. Другие, со светочами (факелами) стоят на берегу. Они зажгли огонёк на одной из крошечных лодочек. Эти лодочки, украшенные венками с зажжёнными на них огнями, олицетворяют души людей, ушедших из мира Яви в светлый мир Нави. Священные лодочки плывут по течению реки и мерцают своими огоньками, олицетворяя течение времени и смысл человеческой жизни в мироздании.
